So, I have been busy cleaning ( I HAVE to have a clean house before I leave!) and keeping the laundry caught up. Today I got the name frame Father's Day gifts ready & sorted photos to give to the grandparents & greats.
And... *gasp*! I also made time to scrap a page that worked for both the DT and for my friend Suna's challenge! It seems like it has been soooo long, it felt good to play with paper & stickers again! LOL
I used the last of my supplies from the July kit.

Now the bad thing is, my new August kit will be arriving any day and I won't be able to play with it till August! But I guess it will be something to look forward to when I get back home, right?!
Moving on, I did a little photoshoot with Layla the other day. I wanted to get a good head shot of all 3 kids to put in this 8x20 collage frame I have. She was her usual tricky, can't concentrate self but I still got a few good ones! Ha! Mama will always find a way...:p

*As a side note, after much searching, I found a way to get bigger photos here on Blogger by changing the code- very simple! If anyone would like to know how, just let me know in the comments. So, I'll be posting bigger photos from now on...because I can! :D *
On Saturday we went to a picnic at Troutville Park. It was for Russ' team at work, given by his boss. It was a fun time except for all the darn rain off and on. We brought the cornhole set, bocce & track ball and everything was used! LOL It really is a GREAT park with all kinds of neat things to play on. I don't know why we've never gone there before! We'll definitely start though :-)
I took a bunch of pics for Bethany of her little girl, Ella. She is such a cutie & her mom loved them when I showed her.
Here are a few pics of Ella and of my 3 playing...

Sam taking a break after getting too dizzy on the merry-go-round!

Layla on one of these big old swings- I loved them!
( I ran a vintage action on this photo)

Playing on the merry-go-round... by far, this was their favorite!

There was also a sandbox, a jeep made out of colored metal bars, an old (real)train engine, a metal bar helicopter... all kinds of neat stuff. And my kids loved the merry-go-round...go figure! LOL
So that's about it for now... just figured I'd do a little catch-up here before we leave since I doubt I'll get on here again.
The boys need haircuts, I need to make a list & start getting stuff together...all that good stuff!
Have a great next couple of weeks & I'll miss you, to all my online friends!
