A Scrappy Place

So yet another weekend has almost gone by...
My mom left this morning and I miss her already! She will be back in a couple months for Easter though, so something to look forward to :-)

Russ & Layla went to the hardware store- I love that they do things like that!
I picked Jake up not too long ago from his winter camp weekend. He had fun & won 2 medals for fire-making. He used flint & gathered his own brush and made a fire in 6 1/2 minutes. Pretty good!
He's downstairs eating now and can't wait for a shower since he didn't get to take one all weekend. I immediately threw his jacket, clothes/snow pants, gloves, hat, etc. into the washer because everything smelled like a campfire, lol.

I got to scrap a couple pages w/the March kit on Fri. and Sat. So much fun, I love it. I need to do 2-3 more next week then I'll just post them all at once.

We also got the bonus paycheck & our income tax refund on Friday, SOOOOOOOOO happy!! Paid off the credit card, the SUV & beefed up other accts., including Christmas & savings. Such a relief!

Well, off for now... Russ and Layla are home & we may go look for a new vacccuum, ours just sucks!
Probably hit the grocery store too, Russ wants chicken kabobs for dinner (yum) so I'm looking forward to that! Especially since he's cooking, ha-ha... ;-)
