There is no way to re-cap everything since Christmas so I won't even try, but here is a quick run-down...
We have had absolutely NO snow this winter! I can't believe it. Not that I love it so much but I know the kids have been dying to get out & play in some. With it being February & our spring arriving in March, it's looking less & less likely that we'll get any of the white stuff.
Jake is enjoying this season of basketball & so are we! His team has won the last like 10 games but just lost for the FIRST time last Saturday (i won't get into that no-good ref, bad-calling game, grrrr...) but still, an exciting game... they only lost by 3 points.
Sam is just being Sam...lol. Plays with his friends, has sleepovers often, loves his football- love him to bits :-)
And I can't believe I'm typing this but LAYLA IS NOW POTTY TRAINED! Praise the Lord!! She just up & decided to wear underwear one day and go in the potty.
We went and got her some Dora undies so she now has a total of 5 pair. Only 1 accident so far too. She won't go #2 in the potty though, still working on that. She KNOWS when she has to go but refuses to use the toilet and demands a diaper be put on her.
*sigh*
But still, I didn't think we'd be where we are now, so I'll take what I get!
I myself have great news! I have been asked to be on the Design Team for Scrapbook Obsessions! Which means I will receive the gorgeous monthly kit for FREE! I need to create several layouts/projects each month using the kit then post them in return. The DT is so unbelievably talented there, I don't know how I'll fit in... but I will try!
I've also became a HUGE fan of the Twilight book series- I thought they were awesome, awesome books! I now have a crush on a 17 yr. old fictional vampire! LOL
On my diet again- since Jan. I have lost 6-7 lbs. I really need to do better- with both eating & exercising (which i hate!). We may be getting the Wii Fit soon, had a chance to try it out and it was really fun!
And a big YAY for the Pittsburgh (Sixburgh) Steelers!!! Woo-hoo! What an exciting game! We all went to Russ' friend Bill's house and had a great time, great weather too! Here are a few pics...

On a sad note, we had to put our cat Shadow down in January. He had diabetes that was getting quite bad. We miss & love him.
