Hooray for Spring!

I love how GREEN everything is and starting to bloom!
The photo above is from one of our "late-bloomer" trees, pretty much all the others have leaves already.
I couldn't wait to play with the Tamron lens and that 2.8 aperture- the kids didn't share my enthusiasm though, so I took pics of the flowers I just planted yesterday instead. Which turned out to be quite nice, having a subject that didn't keep asking "how much longer?", "are we done yet?" LOL

This day has been such a whirlwind. My mom & Phil left this morning, around 10. The boys both had sleepovers last night so it was definitely quieter this morning, lol.
Then around 11:30 I took them all to Sam's baseball practice. He is doing awesome! I love watching, can't wait for actual games though!
After practice we got McD's for lunch then headed home for awhile. It was SUCH a gorgeous day, sunny & 78. Beautiful!
Then all 3 of them were invited to a gymnastics birthday party so I took them there, came home, then picked them up @ 6:30.
Sometimes it just feels like Run, Run, Run! And this was not even THAT bad of a day, lol.

Russ has been busy staining the deck & just about has it finished. Jake, Sam & Layla all helped today! What's that saying? Many hands make light work? Not around here!! LOL
No, really, Jake did help out a LOT today and deserves a pat on the back.

I like that pic of good old Russ ;-) He plans on doing the driveway tomorrow I believe- he's crazy!! Always working on something...
I can't wait till the deck is done & we have the new canopy gazebo thing set up & some flowers up there :-)

And speaking of pics, I had an awesome photoshoot with my mom this week! Got some good ones of her and also her & Layla. Too tired to post them now but I will soon.

I really need to get my butt in gear scrapping too! It's just been SO busy, what with Easter, company, etc. But still, I have got to get something done. I have layouts for the SO Design Team that will be due, Suna's challenge & not to mention the mini baby album I need to make for SURE next week! And after all that I need to do a mini wedding album...

On a sad note, Russ' mom called this morning & his grandpa isn't doing so well & it's not looking good for him :-( Boy Bopppie is in our prayers...

So I think that's all for now...I am saying goodnight though it is technically morning!!
