Spring happenings...!

I just can't believe I've let the blog go this long without posting SOMETHING! I really was trying to keep on track with the once a week deal but obviously that hasn't happened :-( Too busy I suppose...
First off, time for a new background & header - I get bored quickly if you can't tell! :D

Today I took Layla to the Dr. for her 4 yr. checkup. She did great! She's just over the 97th percentile for height at 43 1/2 inches and weighed in at 40lbs. In the last year she's grown 3.75 inches and gained 8 lbs.! She also got 2 shots but she didn't shed a tear, my brave girl! Just got a big frown & I saw the tears well up but she got past it. Got her stickers & pencils (her *treasure*) and was ready to head home! LOL

So of course I have a million pics to post (why do i do this?!)...
I will start with some I took of Little Miss a couple weeks ago. Got her all dressed up, hair done & I got the usual un-cooperation! Not bad overall though... here are her 4 yr. pics...

Then my brother & Leah came down the 13th- 16th. Had such a good time with them & happily the weather was much nicer this time around!
I told them to plan on a photoshoot so we did that a couple days, it was so fun! I love playing the "photographer"! LOL

And ta-da! These are the last bunch- her birthday party, the 23rd! Which also happened to be her actual birthday!



Her Strawberry Shortcake cake (it was SO good, one of the best cakes I've ever had)








We got her a new scooter, like her *old faithful Blue*, only PINK & it's built much better too- she was in heaven & hopped on & went straight up the hill to try it out. Scares me to death every day on that thing, it's really amazing how fast she goes!

There are many, many more, but that's about all I feel like uploading at the moment! LOL We had some great food, great friends, great beer, lol.
The important thing is Layla had a blast & so did everyone else! The first guests came around 2pm and the last people left around 11 pm! Long day but fun day!

So that's all for this evening, I believe. I am going to try & not go so long between posts anymore!
Tomorrow I plan to start Dh's cousin Julia's wedding album, hope I am able to make good progress on it!
