Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Sam! I can't believe he's 8!




So not a whole lot going on today- Layla has been sick so it put me behind in getting ready for Sam's birthday/party. Actually in the last week, all 3 of the kids have been sick!

I took Sam to the grocery store today & let him pick out a bunch of snacks which made his day! LOL I also promised him a couple extra treats since he let me take his picture today- I don't know who was bribing who at this point :-)
We're baking cookies tonight & singing happy birthday then tomorrow evening we're taking him & 5 of his friends to the skating rink then back to our house for cake!





Snapped one of Jake as well... I had him laughing so hard, just saying goofy stuff, lol.




On the 15th we went to a Salem Red Sox game for Sam's baseball banquet. It was SO fun!

I think Russ had a good Father's Day as well. We just stayed here at home, had a good breakfast & gave him his gifts.
A Steelers name frame for the basement was one of them as well as a mini book the kids & I made, using the July kit from Scrapbook Obsessions.



I used cork adhesive paper for the *book* part and used chipboard from cereal & cracker boxes for the numbers, then covered them front & back with paper. I used transparencies as well.






















On a side note, we also found 2 more baby birds tonight! They were baby cardinals & so little! The one would hop right into Jake's hand and wrap his feet around one of his fingers, it was so neat! I didn't feel like going in the house for the camera though, so no pics :-(

I've also changed my blogger background & banner yet again! LOL

So tomorrow is the 1st of July! It's also preview day for the new August kit, I can't wait! It's BG Junebug & I love it, looking foward to seeing all the other stuff that comes with it!
