My bad!

Well, it has certainly been awhile since I've been here, hasn't it?! 'Tis the season and all that... I've been B-U-S-Y!!

Doing what you ask?? We made it through the end of the season for soccer & all the banquets. Then I got the idea to make 5.... oh yeah, I can't SAY!!! LOL Let's just say Christmas gifts for 5 sets of people, shall we?? :D
Really, I've been hard at work on these & love how they've turned out! I'm not quite done with them all but should be by the end of the week. I will certainly be sharing pics once everyone has theirs!

I've also been doing lots of Christmas shopping & have got to say- this is the earliest I think I've finished!! For the extended family anyway. Not for the munchkins of course but I have made a dent.
I need to start thinking about the kids photo for Christmas cards as well...something else to add to the list!

Jake had to make a working volcano project for school, that was due this past Monday. We had a lot of fun doing it & Jake, Russ & I all pitched in. The best part was adding the baking soda & vinegar to make it erupt!
Here he is before school Monday...

Sooooo, just seems like it's been hard to keep up with everything
going on here, plus all the regular household stuff that comes with a family of 5. Sometimes I have to remind myself to do the things I NEED to do rather than what I WANT to do! LOL
Luckily, making these Christmas presents falls into both of those categories, ha ha ha... Now, for any family members reading this; doesn't it make you wonder what I'm doing??? I love being the secret-keeper!! Ha! You will know soon enough...

This is also the first year in a loooong time we haven't traveled up north for Thanksgiving. So we're having our turkey dinner right HERE! I will be making everything from the turkey to pumpkin pie & Russ' friend Kevin will be joining us (AND bringing our favorite- Chocolate Pecan Pie from Cracker Barrell! Yum!)
Then we have Russ' birthday the day before (26th) and then Jake's birthday on Dec. 2!!

Moving on, my dad & stepmom got their album so I can share it now! They really liked it which makes me very happy! :-)

With all my projects this month I haven't had time really to do an actual scrapbook page. I did do one though, the November contest challenge on my board, ending Friday. The girls turned out some beautiful pages this month! It had to have the word "thankful" in there, whether title or journaling...
Here is mine-

After these Christmas projects, I need to do the *me* mini album challenge then start to work on making the boys teachers gifts! Fun stuff, lol!

With that, I leave you to go watch some tv before bed. Russ is at BW 3's watching the Steelers game with a couple friends so I'm all alone now which is pretty nice! LOL

Hope everyone's doing well!
Later...
