Almost T-Day!

I can't believe it is almost Thanksgiving! Time just flies anymore, I swear...

I think it is safe to say I feel pretty on top of things right now.
This past weekend was a big help. We did the annual "go through the toys & toss" procedure and got rid of a bunch & had a big box to go to Goodwill.
Russ went & did the Thanksgiving ddinner shopping.

I was able to finish up the Christmas gift projects I've been working on (yippee) & take some pics (which I'll share in Dec.)

I was also able to get the kids together & take their picture for our Christmas card this year! It was kinda on my list to do but I didn't really think I would get to it. Russ helped me set things up & move the couch, etc.
Things fell apart quickly towards the end, lol, but out of about 60 shots, found the one I was looking for!
Played around with it in Photoshop for a bit then ordered the cards Sun. night since it was the last night of the sale ( first 20 cards for .20)

We also watched The Goonies & the kids loved it. I also forgot how much I loved the song! LOL Hence the reason it's on my playlist now...:D

Monday I started my *me* 10 Questions mini-album. I managed to get the front & back cover, inside of the covers, title page & first 2 questions done.
I thought I would finish it (or attempt to) today but nah... didn't even come close to happening, lol.
Instead I cleaned the basement, did all the laundry, dishes & some light cleaning. I also wrapped up all the out-of-town Christmas gifts for our families & boxed them. When the boys got home we went to the bookstore to get my stepsisters gift, the post office to mail the gifts & the grocery store to get some last-minute additions to the holiday menu & appetizers!
Then came home to unpack, clean up Sam & Layla's room (that she messed up), fold & put away laundry, make dinner & get the coffee ready for morning.
I AM BEAT!
Just finished up with bathtime. I can hear them all chattering away down there, about what I don't know!
Russ should be home soon, it's after 7:30. He's working a bit later tonight since he's off the rest of the week!
It will be nice to have him help out tomorrow since it's *real* cleaning day and I'll be cooking a few things in advance like the pumpkin pie.
Russ' friend Kevin will be joining us for Thanksgiving, it should be a good time! ;-)

Well, speak of the devil, I actually think I heard old Russ come in the door so I'm off for now...
