Happy December!

So begins the countdown to Christmas!

I am very well-prepared this year! It feels so good to be ahead of the game for once. Shopping is all done but for a couple things. I do need to send out Christmas cards soon and I'm looking forward to some yummy holiday baking!

And speaking of counting down to Christmas...
Everyone has received the Christmas gifts I made so I feel free to share some pics now :-)
They are painted cookie sheet advent calendars- each embellishent I made has a magnet on the back.

Here is my dad's...

and here is the other color combo I used for everyone else...

But now I am like the cobbler who has no shoes of his own! I need an advent calendar! LOL No time to make one now though...

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was so warm, we were able to sit out on the deck! The guys played football, we had the stereo going...lots of fun & the food was delicious (if I do say so myself ;) LOL!

I have also finished the 10 questions mini album about *Me* for a November Challenge on ATP. This was inspired by a lovely fellow scrapper, Aleida, from TX, who sadly lost her life in September. We spend so much time scrapping our families that we forget about US. So this challenge was to help change it up a bit.
I'm pretty happy with it :D

what's in your refrigerator?

what's your favorite accessory of choice?

who/what are you crushing on right now?

what is your favorite childhood memory? *I went through a bunch of old photos & just punched 2 holes in them so they can just be flipped through*

who do you miss the most? *did the same thing as above with pics of my grandparents on the bottom 1/2*

who is your BFF?

what are you learning right now?

what is your favorite smell?

what 3 words describe you best?

what is your most valuable possession?

We celebrated Jake's birthday yesterday, I can't believe he is 11!! Where does the time go?
It was just us here at home. He wanted Taco Bell for dinner, lol, so we went & got that. Then I made him a chocolate cake for later and hid his present (per his request). It was the DS game Spore Creatures (yeah, no idea what the heck that's about) and he was happy. Not the one he really, really wanted (Sims City Creator DS)but I couldn't find it anywhere. So I think we'll need Santa's help on this one...:)

Boys have church tonight where they'll be selling Christmas trees for the month of December. I want to swing by & take some pics, lol!
I love that church program, they do wonderful activities with the boys- they love it too!

That's about it for now soooooooo,
Later...!
