Christmas cards arrived today in a STACK, lol. They've been trickling in but today there were a ton.
Russ starts his winter vacation tomorrow & is off through Jan. 5th. He is SO looking forward to it & so am I (though ask me again on Jan. 3 and I may have a different opinion then) LOL!
Today I took the kids grocery shopping then we went & got our ham from Heavenly Ham Co. They are so yummy. We will have some before our Christmas dinner though since the traditional Christmas breakfast is eggs, toast & fried ham. :-)
Tomorrow is the official *baking cookies day* and butterballs, peanut blossoms & Pills. sugar cookies are on the agenda.
Russ is taking Sam for a haircut that is much needed and he is also working on staining a shelf that will hold his Christmas present, lol.
We also began to open our out of town packages tonight & the first box opened was from.... Uncle Jody, Aunt Jen, Maura & Olivia!

The boys are excited to put their Magnetix together so Russ is going to try & help them tomorrow or Wed.
Layla loved her fairy costume and said the wings were like "butterflies"! However.... did you know......??
That it's "broken"?? *gasp*
Aunt Jen, as hard as Layla tried... she couldn't fly.
She ran. She jumped. She asked for help.
But...
...nothing worked.
So she asked her big brother to pick her up then told him to let go, lol.
But that didn't work either.
So she laid down & said she "couldn't do anything"! Awwwwwww!!

Yes, he really did want his hair this way tonight! He likes it when I put random pigtails all over his head! LOL But it's getting cut tomorrow...
And last, here is a quick pic of our hallway decorated. Not the greatest shot & no, there is not a fire at the end of the hallway, it's a spiral tree!! :D LOL
So that's it for tonight kids, it's getting late & I'm getting sleepy!
