We celebrated Jake's birthday w/his friends on Friday night by taking them bowling then to our house for pizza & cake. It was so much fun & a lot easier with just 2 friends!
Russ & I bowled too- he beat me both games! We really need to start going more, we have such fun when we do go.
The basketball tournament is going great! Jake's team looks really good and they've won 3 out of 3 games so far. His Coach said that with the win on Sunday we've secured a spot in the championship (next Sun) so that's exciting news! I believe there are 2 games on Sat. then 2 on Sun.
I am going to try to start addressing Christmas cards today. It doesn't seem as daunting of a task when it's broken down to a handful each day so that is my goal.
I also came up with a gift idea for Russ yesterday. It's basically photos of random things that "create" letters, then you put it together to spell something. I think I'm going to order it today so I will have time to get it framed.
Not sure which color combo I prefer though...

It will be approx. 10x20 (or 8x20, haven't decided) and hang on the wall behind our new tv. We need something there...
We also got our tree on Sat. and have it strung with lights, the star & the tree skirt on.
We're going to hang ornaments tonight. :-)
