I've got....Pictures!

Lots of pics to share!

We just got back from Sam's wet, wet soccer game! Everyone was soaked, esp. Sam & Layla. Hot baths & showers were definitely in order! Sam's team won, btw. The coach put Sam & Cameron on the same team for the first time & boy- did they have at it!! Cameron got 3 goals & Sam got 5! LOL They usually separate them so it's not such a crunch on the other team but they were SO excited to play at the same time for once!

And...I finally took the time to go through Russ' pics and edit them. It looks absolutely gorgeous. He was in Frankfurt, Baumberg (sp?) and Munich. They were also there for the 1st day of Oktoberfest. There is a big parade *rolling out the barrels* with all the kegs on floats, pretty neat!
The only downside- he was using our point & shoot Canon and I had everything set up for him. At some point however, the dial got turned onto AV mode and he didn't know it so a lot of the pics are grainy. :-(
There are 100 pics but I'm only choosing 5 right now- on a time crunch 'cause my show starts in 10 min.!!
So here are a few of my faves:

We also got Jake's project of making a homemade instrument finished yesterday, yay!! We had a great time making our own handheld tambourines!
You take a "Y" shaped branch, smooth it & paint it. 12 bottlecaps, flattened with a hammer and the inside seal removed. Poke a hole through the center of each cap with a nail then string through strong wire. Wrap wire around each side of the "Y" part of the stick & voila!! We also used different fibers to decorate our sticks. I made an extra one for Layla and painted it pink & purple. :-)
Having all these scrapbooking supplies sure comes in handy for projects, let me tell ya! I have a huge stash of decorated bottle caps as well as a million fibers that rarely find my way onto pages.

Here are pics of the finished product...

Layla playing with hers

She was being so sweet & good today. I told her how much I love "my baby" and she pulled away & looked at me saying " I'm not a baby! I'm a Layla!!"

So she is! LOL
And you can also see where she decided to *trim* her bangs right smack in the middle. She had so much FUN cutting her hair till Mommy took away the scissors!! Oh, that girl...! She will find trouble within 1 minute, given the chance.

And before I go, here is a page I finished on Monday for the crop challenge of using paint-

That's all kids, Survivor is ON and I'm going to watch! Woo-Hooo!!!
Later!
