We got a lot accomplished though which was NICE. I got the playroom completely cleaned & organized, all the laundry done & put away, all the kids new fall/winter clothing put away, closets gone through & old clothes discarded or handed down, downstairs cleaned...it feels good I tell ya!!
Last night we rented Back to the Future for the kids. They'd never seen it & I thought they would like it (they did). It's funny to think of some of the movies that we saw growing up & that our kids have never heard of! Short Circuit is another one but they didn't have it at the movie store.
Watched a little about the hurricane- hoping everyone is safe. It didn't seem to be near as bad as what they were predicting & I hope what little damage I "saw" on tv was the same everywhere.
This is going to be cut short a little- kids are downstairs having ice cream before bed so I know I will be hearing little feet pounding up the steps shortly! Bedtime is pushed back a bit tonight from the usual 8:30pm on school nights since what started as a friendly little game of passing the football with Russ & Sam turned into a neighborhood event! LOL It was fun though, wish I would've taken pics but since I was in the middle of the game as well there was no chance of that happening!
It's also the 1st of the month and that means..... the Oct. kit preview from Scrapbook Obsessions! It is gorgeous (not that it usually isn't!) The papers are Fancy Pants Daily Grind & I LOVE them. I cannot wait to scrap with this...
So that's all for tonight, I want to watch some tv & relax a bit before bed. Hopefully do some scrappin tomorrow! 'Night!
