Whew! I am just tired right now, lol.

This is not going to be too long of an entry because the STEELERS are playing now (v. Cleveland-boooooo) & I need to go watch some of the game!
It's been a busy last couple days... between the boys soccer pics, Jake's game, taking Russ to the airport- then him arriving home 3 hrs. later because the flight was cancelled due to bad weather in Chicago (thanks Ike)! So we had to take him back to the airport this afternoon.
And not only that- poor Sam caught some darn flu bug from school.
Apparently there's been one heck of a nasty outbreak with a LOT of kids as well as teachers out sick.
He felt so bad yesterday afternoon & evening, finally getting sick once before his bath, pook kid. After that he seemed better & had a good nights sleep. This morning his tummy hurt for a bit but went away by afternoon. He's right as rain now though & is most definitely going to school tomorrow despite his protests of not being "100% good enough" :D
Praying no one else gets it!

Russ just called about 1/2 hr. ago and though his flight was delayed, he is now in Washington DC and leaving for Germany in about an hour! So finally he will be on his way! Hoping & praying he has a great time and a safe flight.... we will miss him! I will especially after the kids go to bed - I won't have my talking/tv watching buddy for a week! :-(

On the upside I started my new book The Preachers Daughter and it's pretty good so far though I've only just started.

So...here's to wishing me an uneventful, kids behaving, lots of scrapping, no sickness week ahead!

Before I go, here are some photos from yesterday... the first two I took right behind the photographer, lol- Sshhhhhhh!

These next 2 were just a couple random shots of them I took while we were waiting for Jake's turn to get his teams photos taken...

These last 2 photos are of Sam & Layla on the neatest train car at the park!
It's always been there but I never think to get their pictures on it until we pass it on the way out of the park. I'm so proud I remembered this time! LOL
I only had my zoom lens with me because of the game so I couldn't include more of the train car without backing myself into the woods!

In this one, Sam grabbed Layla's head so she would look at the camera and she yelled "CHEEEEEEEESE"! LOL

That's all for tonight folks...I'm beat and need to go veg for awhile! 'Night!
